mailing lists Nominations for student representatives are solicited each
December/January for terms running from April 1 - December 31.
Nominees must be students as of the time of the selection, willing to
attend the Annual Meeting and distinguished by their scholarship,
leadership and commitment to maternal and child health.
The MCH Section welcomes and encourages any interested student to
participate in its activities. During the annual meeting, students are
particularly encourage to join us at:
-The Student Poster Session
-The Annual Business Meeting
-The Martha May Eliot Award Luncheon (NOTE: you will need a ticket to
receive lunch)
- The Martha May Eliot Forum (immediately following lunch)
- Committee Meetings
-MCH Section Sponsored Scientific Sessions
We also suggest you stop by and visit our booth located in the exhibit
hall. Check the Annual Meeting Program under MCH for details.
The Section publishes a student newsletter every September that
describes these events in greater detail and discussed ways to become
more involved in the Section. We also encourage you to join the APHA
Student Caucus - Check your APHA Annual Meeting Program for Student
Caucus Activities.
Please plan to attend the APHA Student Connection at the Annual
Meeting. There will be an opportunity to learn more about the MCH
Section, its advocacy and career development work.

Leadership held in Washington, DC. Three categories of representatives
were selected and assigned responsibilities in the Section, as shown
