Objectives: To
identify strategies for implementing recent recommendations to
achieve Healthy People 2010 objectives for newborn screening and
genetics. Outcomes: 1. Identify
for HRSA and MCHB priority areas in the translation of
recommendations into action.
2. Identify recommendations for
the use of SPRANS funds in the translation of recommendations
into action. Post Meeting Products: MCHB Action Plan
for the translation of recommendations into action. Participants/ Leaders in the field from
State Agencies, MCHB Funded Projects, Consumer Organizations, Key
Geneticists, Professional Organizations, NCSL, and Federal Agencies.
